Greenwood Council Meeting Wednesday, November 21, 2024 at 6:00pm 201 S Main St- Council Chambers The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hansen. Roll call- Nelson, Hinker, Bolf and Ashbeck all present. Also present Clerk/ Treasurer Kayla Schar, Utility Director Trent Johnson, Street Supervisor Dave Hinker, and Attorney Bonnie Wachsmuth. Arrived late Police Chief Bernie Bock. New Business: 1. Bolf motioned to approve the Library for 2025 from the City for $74,000.66. Nelson seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 2. Hinker motioned to approve the 2025 budgets for the City and setting the levy at $562,372. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 3. Bolf motioned to approve the Personnel Committee recommendation to hire Andrew Kohnert as Chief of Police as of January 1, 2025. Nelson seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 4. Nelson motioned to approve the Energenecs contract for 2025 in the amount of $1862.56. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 5. Hinker motioned to allow employee Bernie Bock to take his phone and number with him when he retires. Bolf seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 6. Nelson motioned to allow the Public Works department to purchase a replacement box blade for the John Deere Tractor. The City will sell the used box blade in the spring on Wisconsin Surplus website. Hinker seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 7. Schar reviewed treasurer’s report. State funds have been received. 8. Nelson motioned to approve the bills and vouchers as presented. Hinker seconded the motion. Roll call vote. All ayes, motion carried. 9. Ashbeck motioned to approve the minutes as written. Bolf seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 10.
