Greenwood Council Meeting Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 6:00pm 201 S Main St- Council Chambers The meeting was called to order by Mayor Hansen. Roll call- Nelson, Behrens, Hinker and Ashbeck all present. Also present Clerk/ Treasurer Kayla Schar, Public Works Director Eddie Herrick, Police Chief Andrew Kohnert, Utility Director Trent Johnson and Attorney Bonnie Wachsmuth. Public Comment: 1. No Citizens present for comment. New Business: 1. Nelson motioned to approve a new drive for Aeration Ditch 3 for $18,737.31. Ashbeck seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 2. Hinker motioned to approve replacement vests for the police department for $1,111. Behrens seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 3. Nelson motioned to make the wage adjustment for Henry Meyer per the Police Union Contract. Hinker seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried. 4. Discussion regarding 4th of July event. Clerk will be sending out donation request letters. 5. Ashbeck motioned to approve the Summer Fest Committee members for 2025. Behrens seconded the motion. All ayes motion carried. 6. Nelson motioned to approve the bills and vouchers as presented. Ashbeck seconded the motion. Roll call vote, all ayes. Motion carried. 7. Nelson motioned to approve the minutes as written.
