City of Groveland Planning & Zoning Workshop Meeting Minutes . Thursday, September 7,2023 The City of Groveland Planning and Zoning Board held a meeting on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Board Member Chair Keith Keogh called the meeting to order at 3:03 p.m. The following Board Members were present: Keith Keough, Zach Decker, Dominic Cicio, Robin Hoover, and Kerry Lambert. Kelly Randall, Lake County School System. City Officials present were City Attorney Anita Geraci-Carver; Timothy Maslow, Community & Economic Development Department Director; DeWayne Jones, Planning and Zoning Division Manager; Hannah Forbes, Planner l; and Maria Ramirez, Recording Secretary. Absent: Board Member Robert Proper, Marty Proctor and Bill Mathias. CONSENT AGENDA Approval of minutes from the June 1 ,2023, Planning and Zoning Board Meeting, July 13,2023 and August 3,2023 Planning and Zoning Workshops. Motion: Board Member Cicio motioned to recommend approval of the June 1 ,2023, July 13,2023 and Augusl3,2023, minutes; Seconded by Board Member Robin Hoover. All Board Members present voted aye Lake Gounty Public Schools. Kelly Randall, AICP, Executive Director of Facilities and Planning shared South Lake County school updates. Currently working with FDOT to improve sidewalks. Addressing Groveland Elementary improvements. lmprovements/upgrades done to South Lake High School for the next 30 years. There was an enrollment decrease in elementary and middle school, with South Lake High School having an increase. District wide will have a 10% enrollment increase in October. A new high school is coming to the Wellness Way Four Corners area in Clermont, more information will be provided in future meetings. Chair Keough requested an update on the bus routes and stops. Kelly will provide the update to Tim Maslow and DeWayne Jones to share at the October meeting. I NEW BUSINESS a.
