Call to Order by Mayor Lance Westcamp at 5:15 p.m. Staff Present: BJ King - Administrator, Kevin Shannon - Law Director, Jason Carr - Director of Finance, Casey Adams - Chief of Police, Jeff Green - Development Director, Ruthanne Sargus Ross - Clerk of Council Guests Present: The Guest Book is on file with the Clerk of Council. II. Moment of Silence Mayor Westcamp reserved the moment of silence and pledge of allegiance for the Committee of the Whole meeting following tonight's City Council's special meeting. III. Pledge of Allegiance N/A IV. Roll Call Present: 6 - Shawn M. Cleary, Edward Dildine, Jean Ann Hilbert, Becky Hutson, Scott Lockett, and Jack Rupp V. New Business A. Election of Council President Pro-Tem Mayor Westcamp opened up the floor for nominations for Council President Pro Tempore for calendar years 2022 and 2023. Council Member Lockett nominated Jean Ann Hilbert for President Pro Tem. The Mayor asked if there were any other nominations. Hearing none, he asked for a motion to close the nominations for President Pro Tempore. A motion was made by Council Member Hutson, seconded by Council Member Cleary, to close the nominations for President Pro Tempore. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 6- Cleary, Dildine, Hilbert, Hutson, Lockett and Rupp B. Election of Vice Chair Mayor Westcamp opened up the floor for nominations for Council Vice Chair for calendar years 2022 and 2023. Council Member Jean Ann Hilbert nominated Becky Hutson for Vice Chair. The Mayor asked if there were any other nominations. Hearing none, he asked for a motion to close the nominations for Vice Chair. A motion was made by Council Member Hilbert, seconded by Council Member Cleary, to close the nominations for Vice Chair. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 6- Cleary, Dildine, Hilbert, Hutson, Lockett and Rupp Approval of Becky Huston as Vice Chair for 2022 and 2023. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 6- Cleary, Dildine, Hilbert, Hutson, Lockett and Rupp VII.
