New Berlin Road) Notice is hereby given that the Public Works Commission will meet at the above date, time, and place. Notice is given that a majority of the Village Board may attend this meeting to gather information about an agenda item over which they have decision-making responsibility. This would constitute a meeting of the Board per State ex rel. Badke v. Greendale Village Board even though the Board will not take formal action at this meeting. Houte, DPW Project Manager Public:  None 2.0 GENERAL BUSINESS o Approval of Minutes – May 15, 2025  Fritz motioned to approve the minutes with a revision for spelling error and Postotnik seconded it. No discussion and passed with all in favor. o Public Comment –  None 3.0 ADMINISTRATION REPORT 3.1 DPW Task Updates  Houte presented DPW operations update. ▪ Mowing ▪ Landscaping ▪ Road Patching ▪ Tree pruning in ROW  There was no discussion. 3.2 DPW Manager Updates 3.2.1 Village Hall Exterior Maintenance  Need additional proposals.  Houte described the scope.  No discussion. 3.2.2 Library tree removal  Trees identified for removal and approved. A Contractor has been selected. 3.2.3 Miscellaneous  Reporting  Responding to resident inquires  Planning for CIP  Evaluating Sanitary Sewer Rates 4.0 PROJECTS: 4.1 2024 Road Program – Update  Working on project close out. 4.2 Village Library Project – Update  Exterior improvements: Awarded the Project, processing Contracts, had Preconstruction Meeting and material selections performed. 4.3 Village Fire Station Parking Lot Project – Update  Project has been Bid, recommendation for Award went to Village Board. Received Contracts from Contractor and processing signatures. Brief project scope description provided by Houte. 4.4 MMSD Private Property Infiltration & Inflow Project – Update  Houte provided a brief project scope description. Preconstruction meeting was held. Notification was given to residents. Project to begin at the end of the month and into July. Houte included project information on DPW Page. 4.5 Hales Happiness Water Main – Update  Provided a schedule update and posted project information on the DPW page.  Project began this week on Copeland.  Brief description of sump pump discharge issues within the project area.  Brief construction sequence description. 4.6 Lory Lane Lift Station – Update  Project ongoing, by-pass pumping is ongoing, wet well has been rehabilitated and the control panel has been installed. New Alarm system dialers have been installed at Garden Ct and Whitnall Way Lift Station.  4.7 Storm Sewer Easement Swale Enclosure – Update  Waiting for an updated schedule. Project location between Forest Park and Garden Ct. 5.0 NEXT SCHEDULED MEETING – July 17, 2025 @ 6:00pm 6.0 ADJOURNMENT  Fritz motioned to adjourn the meeting, Merkel seconded the motion, and the motion passed unanimously at 6:30 PM.
