Mayor Steve Eitelman Mayor Pro-Tem Alderman Eric Anderson Alderman Dan Herrington Alderman Charlie Hunt Alderman Brandon Sheffield Notice is hereby given of a Regular Meeting of the Hallsville City Council to be held February 16, 2016, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 115 W. Main Street, Hallsville, Texas, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to action. I. Call to Order II. Invocation – The invocation will be given by Mayor Steve Eitelman III. Pledge of Allegiance – The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Mayor Steve Eitelman IV. Consent Agenda – (All consent agenda items are considered routine by City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Councilmember requests an item be removed and considered separately.) 1. Police Department Summary for January 2016 2. Water Department Summary for January 2016 3. Permit Report for January 2016 4. Financial Report Summary for January 2016 5. Minutes of January 19, 2016 Meetings V. Public Comments – (Limited to three minutes per person). VI. Discussion Items VII. Items to be Considered 1. Consider and act upon approving the Order of Election for three positions of Aldermen for May 7, 2016 by adopting Resolution 2016-04. 2. Consider and act upon approving the Special Election for the One Percent increase of the Local Sales and Use Tax within the City for May 7, 2016 by adopting Resolution 2016-05. 3. Consider and act upon approving the Contract with Harrison County for Election Services for 2016 Elections. 4. Consider and act upon approving the Agreement for a Joint Election between the HISD and the City for the May 7, 2016 Election. 5. Consider and act upon appointing a new Mayor Pro Temp to finish out the term of Mayor Pro Tem Jake Walker. VIII.
