Notice is hereby given of a Special Meeting of the Hallsville City Council to be held November 15,
2016, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 115 W. Main Street, Hallsville,
Texas, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to
action.
I. Call to Order
II. Invocation – The invocation will be given by Mayor Steve Eitelman
III. Pledge of Allegiance – The Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Mayor Steve Eitelman
IV. Discussion Items
1. Discuss with Council some ideas and possible projects regarding our City.
a) Traffic Issues/Railroad Crossing
b) Zoning – Downtown/Main Street District
c) Water
d) Annexation/Home Rule Change
e) Roads
f) Street Lamps
g) Park
V. Items to be Considered
1. Consider and act upon a Parade Policy.
VI. Executive Session - (In accordance with Texas Government Code, Subchapter D)
1. Tex. Gov’t Code § 551.071 – Legal Advice - Consultation with City Attorney regarding
personnel matter
2. Tex. Gov’t Code § 551.074 – Personnel Matter – Mayor Compensation Level
VII. Adjourn Executive Session - Adjourn the Executive Session, stating the date and time the
Executive Session ended and Reconvene the Special Meeting
VIII. Convene Special Meeting - (In accordance with Texas Government Code, Subchapter D)
1. Consider and act upon Setting Mayor Compensation Level.
IX. Adjournment
