Chair’s Report – Nancy Eason  2019-2020 School Grant Program o The 2019-2020 application has minimal changes (updated names and phone numbers). o Nancy will include a cover letter. o Ann Bain will assist with distribution of application within school system. o In past, Commissioner visits to awardee schools has not worked out due to school/teacher scheduling conflicts. This year, HCA will provide two options for awardee reports: 1) Awardees will be invited to the October 2020 HCA meeting to provide a grant report; 2) Optional site visits will be arranged – the site visits will accommodate the teacher’s schedule therefore they will not be mandatory for all Commissioners to attend. These options will be communicated in the grant award letter. o Each approved grant will award up to a total of $5,000 in funding unless an application warrants additional funds. The 2018-2019 granting program did require additional departmental funds, and if supplemental funds are needed for the 2019-2020 cycle, they will be provided. Artistic Director’s Report – Richard M.
