Meeting Minutes
May 21, 2020
Opening
The post election meeting was called to order at 11:30 p.m.
Present
Chairman Fred Everett, Vice Chairman Carter Phillips, Secretary Margaret Wilson and
Registrar Tara Morgan
Open Issues
The final counting of provincials and confirmation of machine counts was completed at
7:10 p.m.
Incident Discussion
It was reported by Chief at Machen that the Principal does not like have the election at
this school. It was stated that the bathrooms located near the polling area were locked
and the election officials had to find a bathroom.
It was requested that the Secretary called Dr. Smith, Superintendent to discuss this
issue.
New Business
The Secretary will call the City Manager, Mary Bunting to schedule a meeting to discuss
the establishment of Absentee Precinct at the old Court House.
Report of both the Machen issue and the City Manager meeting will be discussed at the
June 11, 2020 meeting.
The Registrar stated the training for the November election will be mandatory for all
election officials.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:20 p.m. by the Chairman.
