CAPI Committee Meeting Results March 16, 2016 – Community Development Conference Room- 5:00 PM Present: Steve Edwards Chair – Faith Based Commissioner Henry Mills – At-Large Business Commissioner Peggy Todd – At-Large Realtor Commissioner David Duxbury - District 1 Neighborhood Commissioner “Chuck” McEachin – District 2 Neighborhood Commissioner Marcie Spragan - Neighborhood Development Associate Jasmine Bryson - Neighborhood Development Associate Absent: Pat Parker - District 5 Neighborhood Commissioner Lynn Allsbrook – Public Works Department  F.O.O.T. CAP Grant Submittal - Application disapproved due to late submittal. o Not sufficient time for an efficient review and process action  Phoebus Spring Fling CAP Grant Submittal – Approved for $1000.00 o Original request was for $2000.00, but only approved $1000.00 in accordance with current policy; 50% reduction from previous year if program does not provide change from previous year o CAPI decided there was not a significant enough change in this year’s program from last year to warrant the full CAP Grant amount of $2000.00 The meeting was adjourned at 6:00PM The next meeting will be held at 5:00 PM on April 20, 2016 in the CDD Conference Room Minutes by: Steve Edwards
