C. Bowman: is city council diverse group appointed by the council, potential to influence city, primary responsible to assist in crisis prevention support city diversity issues. I have lived here all my life. Prepare strive to be part of this community local government and law enforcement. We are an independent appointed commission. Do they trust us we are citizens have drive and desire to be part earned trust of community leaders. In your careers. Brief overview of ceac. s. Bond: 4 levels of engagement – level 1 monitoring – as entrusted community leaders. Issues that might divide the city along diversity. Level 2 – interacting investigation and try to id potential of explode. Level 3 – request your assistance engage in taling internal or external departments listed. Dispel rumors what the real facts are. Level 4 involve the entire city of Hampton. That will touch all communities in Hampton. That will touch all communities in Hampton involved recommendations to make sure incident does not occur again. Buys us the opportunity for calm while… not responding to reason give the city the space to breathe. Impartial group we want to know that we made a mistake. Hones about investigation shows. Buy time to gather facts. s. Marchello: work side by side but not together. Ceac more listening helping with responses successful model for decade for decade an half difference both groups healthy. S. Brown: hoping will never have to engage in a high level Angela Ready few years ago. This group had community meetings. Bring out the truth show the strength of diversity in this city. Left there with knowing how powerful we can be. That’s where unity and diversity starts. We have to have community that is what this group does. Closed session S. Brown: process Questions we want to ask S. Marchello: careful to not seem like interview. These 4 are uniformly enthusiastic about. Not competing with each other. I asked them to give a brief explanation what it is that appeals to them. Focused on age and trying to recruit. s. Brown: can we request that 4 are appointed? S. Bond: yes S. Marchello: this will take us to 14. One was no longer in the area, lukewarm and less responsive. Concern for me working tonight no broken up about that. S. Brown: from there I would like 3-4 good questions S. Acharya: free to talk about themselves Out of Closed Session S. Bond: certifying that we spoke only of this subject S. Brown: ok to feed off of one another S. Marchello: this group only work if we’re a group. Please go through your prior activities throughout the city of Hampton. #4: marketing for foster grandpartent. Hampton triad and serving with that committee for 7 years. Very interested in sr. preventing criminal activity inform about scams. Saturday on the scat coordinator of the MLK 12 annual 200 attendees and growing. As you can see, I have a vested interest in sr. passion for helping. Triad is partnership between focus on preventing criminal active. #2:
