Comprehensive Plan Amendment No. 16-00003: Hampton Community Plan (2006, as amended): by the City of Hampton to consider amendments to the Hampton Community Plan (2006, as amended) to update the land use plan for the property commonly known as the Virginia School for the Deaf, Blind and Multi-Disabled to recognize the Commonwealth’s closure of the school and appropriate reuse of the 76+ acres; 62+ acres contain LRSNs 1004270, 13002595, and 13002596, which share the address 700 Shell Road and are roughly bound by Shell Road to the north, Pine Avenue to the west, and Childs Avenue to the east (these 62+ acres are recommended for business/industrial land use); and 14+ acres contain LRSNs 1004270, 13002597, 13002598, 13002599, 13002600, 13002602, 13002603, 13002604, 13002605, 13002601, 13002606, and 13002608, which is bound by Merrimac Avenue to the northeast, Gloucester Street to the southeast, and the City line to the southwest (these 14+-acres are recommended for low density residential land use).
