Use Permit Application No. 16-00010: by Jeffery Moore to operate Live Entertainment 2 in conjunction with a restaurant at Déjà Vu Restaurant and Lounge, 2080 Nickerson Boulevard [LRSN: 11003251]. The property is zoned Neighborhood Commercial (C-1) District with proffers which allow for live entertainment with a use permit. The Hampton Community Plan (2006, as amended) recommends commercial land use for this site. Copies of documents or information concerning this proposal may be obtained from the Community Development Department located in City Hall at 22 Lincoln Street or from Tolu Ibikunle, 757-728-5237 or tibikunle@hampton.gov. B. Use Permit Application No. 16-00011: by Bull Island Brewing Company, LLC to operate Live Entertainment 2 in conjunction with a brewery at 758 Settlers Landing Road [LRSN: 2003231]. The property is zoned Downtown Waterfront (DT-2) District with which allows for live entertainment with a use permit. The Hampton Community Plan (2006, as amended) recommends mixed use for this site. C. Use Permit Application No. 17-00001: by Peninsula Main VA, LLC to operate a hotel at 3000 Allainby Way [LRSN: 13002082] in Peninsula Town Center. The property is zoned Limited Commercial (C-2) District which allows for a hotel with a use permit. The Hampton Community Plan (2006, as amended) recommends mixed-use development for this site. This item is concurrently advertised for the March 8th City Council meeting. D. Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 17-00001: Ordinance To Amend And Re-Enact Chapter 1 Of The Zoning Ordinance Of The City Of Hampton, Virginia Entitled “General Provisions” By Amending Section 1-31 Pertaining To Major Recreational Equipment, Parking And Storage Requirements. These regulations are proposed to be amended and re-enacted in the Hampton City Code. Regulations concerning living in a recreational vehicle are proposed to remain in the zoning ordinance. The public is invited to attend meetings and to observe the work and deliberations of the Planning Commission. The public may also address the Planning Commission on public hearing items by signing up to speak. Public hearing sign-up sheets will be available until the specific item is reached during the course of the meeting. Speakers will be recognized in the order in which they sign up and are asked to state their name and address, to limit their comments to 3 minutes, and to avoid repeating comments made by previous speakers.
