Use Permit Application No. 21-00009: This is a use permit application by MCG VA Sears, LLC, to permit a storage facility 2 at 5112 West Mercury Blvd [LRSN: 3002532]. The property is zoned Limited Commercial (C-2) District, which permits storage facility 2 with an approved use permit. The Hampton Community Plan (2006, as amended) recommends business/industrial uses for this area. This application was previously heard by the Planning Commission on the June 16, 2022 agenda, during which the applicant requested the application be deferred until the August 18, 2022 agenda.
