There was not a quorum, so the Board members present proceeded with the agenda’s non-voting items. Board Member Updates Wayne reported that at City Council’s November 8 meeting, they reappointed Malik Perry and appointed a new member, Jerri Patrick. Malik arrived and the Board now had a quorum. Wayne directed the Board’s attention back to the first voting item on the agenda, the minutes. Minutes A motion to accept the November 6 meeting minutes was made by Garth and seconded by Ruth. All voted and the motion passed unanimously. Treasurer’s Report Melissa was not present; however, she provided the Treasurer’s report to Garth. Details of the report include an approved expense of $55, interest income of $9 and a balance of $261,178. A motion to accept the report was made by John and seconded by Nick. All voted and the motion passed unanimously.  2 12/29/2023 Locker Room and Scoreboard McCord provided an update on the Locker Room and Scoreboard items. Scoreboard – The City was in the process of writing the contract with Daktronics for the new scoreboard. Locker Room – The City project has been separated into two projects (Renovation and Addition): • Renovation: renovating the existing building into both home and away locker areas and umpire locker areas; with two provisions: o Accommodate a low-cost Addition based on future funding; and o Accommodate ice and laundry services in the renovated facility. • Addition: adding the coaches’ rooms, training room, maintenance room, and storage area. The expectation is that the Renovation groundbreaking will be the fall of 2024. PSA Organizational Structure Discussion Angela reported that she continues to work on scheduling meetings between PSA members and representatives from similar entities – such as those associated with the American Theatre and the History Museum. As these meetings are scheduled, updates will be provided. PSA volunteers for the meetings are Melissa, Wayne, Garth, and Ruth. Winter Project Update Garth provided an update on the winter projects. Most of projects will be prioritized with Matt throughout the winter. We will request a History Wall update in February 2024. Peninsula Pilots Updates The following highlights were provided by the Pilots and Community Baseball, LLC (CB LLC): • Several off-season improvements will be ready for opening day 2024 o New Scoreboard o Renovated Concession Stand o Big Fans o History Wall • Pilot’s 25th Anniversary at War Memorial Stadium • Board discussed Ribbon Cutting Ceramony including speeches and possible video New Business None. The Chair adjourned the meeting at 12:55 p.m. Next regular meeting is January 8, 2024, at 12:00 (noon) at War Memorial Stadium.
