Minutes A motion to accept the March 4 meeting minutes was made by Randy and seconded by John. All voted and the motion passed unanimously. Treasurer’s Report Melissa presented the Treasurer’s report that included three approved expenses totaling $567 (two Otis Elevator monthly maintenance service invoices - $256 and one Intuit QuickBooks invoice - $55) with a balance of $189,493. A copy of the summary report was provided to the secretary. A motion to accept the report was made by Garth and seconded by Ruth. All voted and the motion passed unanimously. Opening Day & 2024 Season Discussion Opening day is Thursday, May 23 with fireworks on Friday. Wayne is coordinating efforts with city staff for a video; filming of the video will start next week Winter Projects 2024/25 Garth requested board members to start thinking about next year’s winter projects. We will discuss priorities at May and June meetings.  2 5/20/2024 (City Projects Update) Scoreboard & Locker Room Locker Room – McCord reported that the City staff provided comments on the last set of drawings. We hope to receive an approved set of plans within the next 30 days. PSA Board (with Community Baseball and City Staff support) will discuss the following at the May board meeting: • Facilitating / accommodating baseball activities for Pilots, A-School, and other Stadium users • Construction schedule and strategy (liquidated damages) • Scope of work (contracting / subcontracting additional work such as trailers). Scoreboard – McCord reported that Daktronics was on the Job! Permits have been approved and McCord will help facilitate required inspections. Installation should be complete by the end of the month. Community Baseball and PSA will participate in Daktronics training sessions. Stadium keys have been provided to the contractor to facilitate work schedules. Winter Project Update All winter projects are being worked on and are expected to be finalized prior to opening day. Additional preseason discussions followed: • Stadium roof repair under study – Matt and John • Pavilion roof leak is new; contractor needs to investigate the origin • Inspections (facilities, health, elevator, etc.) – Matt coordinating • Plumbing issues are complete • No parking at Emergency Gate – also looking at restriping and signage • Retractable safety net for scoreboard Peninsula Pilots Updates The following highlights were provided by the Pilots and Community Baseball, LLC (CB LLC): • none New Business Board members were asked to brainstorm about 2024 winter projects. We will be working on the winter project list during the May and June meetings. No other new business. The Chair adjourned the meeting at 1:01 p.m. Next regular meeting is May 6, 2024, at 12:00 (noon) at War Memorial Stadium.
