Bookkeeping Updates At the last meeting, we shared the financial statements the CPA prepared for the Fiscal Year starting July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2022. Angela is working with Finance to see if the City’s auditor can provide auditing services to the PSA. The CPA is working on the next round of statements. Next month, we will revisit and at that time we will need a motion to approve the prepared financial statements. 2 9/24/2024 City Project Update - Locker Room The locker room renovation is underway. Community Baseball is coordinating field details with NNS Apprentice School. A portion of the playground may need to be reset because of a needed fence relocation. Further updates will be provided on an as needed basis. Safety Additions Patti Parker, the City’s Risk Manager, and Angela met with Hudson & Associates on August 29 and Hudson is preparing a cost estimate for them to update their 2016 report with respect to recommendations for the stands and ADA seating areas. Once that quote is received, we can determine if PSA can cover the cost or if we will need to coordinate with the City. Hudson recommended having Parks inspect the playground / mini ball field and provide recommendations with respect to those items. Parks has this on their schedule. Winter Projects 2024/25 Two winter projects have been approved and were funded at a prior meeting - Pitch Clocks at $15k and Padded Outfield Wall at $60k. The Pilots are prepared to proceed with these projects. Garth reviewed the remaining ‘potential’ projects with the board. No additional action taken at this time. The board previously approved $10k for mini ball field carpet repair/replacement. $6k remains for Stadium Beautification (plants/flowers/shrubs) which will be postponed until spring.
