HAYES TOWNSHIP A 25‘* May 21, 2024 UNAPPROVED MINUTES Supervisor Jones called the Special Meetingto order at 10:30 a.m. at the Hayes Township Hall, 2055 E. Townline Lake Road. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present — Supervisor Jones, Trustee Buckley, Trustee Teall, Treasurer Rood, and Clerk Hoyt Members absent - None Motion Teall/Rood to approve agenda. All Ayes, motion carried. Public Comment on agenda (The Hayes Township Board allows 3 minutes per person for public comment) New Business Motion Teall/Rood to approve Walters Lawn Care proposal for lawn care until further notice. All ayes, Motion Jones/Teall to appoint Terry Acton to Board of Review, filling the vacant seat of Gayle Downs, term to expire 12/31/24. All ayes, motion carried. Motion Jones/Teall to approve revised Clare County Road Commission Ridge Rd. contract not to exceed $46, 111.07. All ayes, motion carried. Discussion items o Dust Control discussion: | have reviewed all parcels and have a recommendation on the roll; | am finishing up today a list of parcels and recommended charges. | have visited every road in the township and reviewed all dead ends, end of publics, and public roads that are two-tracks, trails, or "on paper" only. e Discuss replacement of alternates on BOR, given that a vacancy may occur.
