City of Haslet Agenda Library Board Meeting Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 6:00 pm Haslet Public Library, 100 Gammill Street Notice is hereby given of a Regular Meeting of the Haslet Library Board to be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 6:00 pm, at the Haslet Public Library, 100 Gammill Street, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items: Page 1. CITIZENS PARTICIPATION AND COMMENTS An opportunity for citizens to address the Library Board on matters which are on the agenda or are not scheduled for consideration (non-agenda items). The Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits deliberation by the Library Board of any subject which is not on the posted agenda, therefore the Library Board will not be able to discuss or take action on items not listed on this agenda, other than to make statements of specific factual information or to recite existing policy in response to the inquiry. NOTE: In order to address the Library Board during this time, or later in the meeting for any item that is scheduled on the agenda, please complete, and submit a speaker card to the Board's Secretary prior to the start of the meeting. The presiding officer may ask the speaker to hold comments on agenda items until that agenda item is reached. 4. ITEMS OF COMMUNITY INTEREST Any expressions of thanks, congratulations, or condolence; information regarding holiday schedules; honorary recognitions of city officials, employees, or citizens; reminders about upcoming events sponsored by the city or other entity that is to be attended by a city official or employee; and announcements involving imminent threats to the public health and safety. 4.1. The City of Haslet General Election will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of electing Council Members Place One, Three, and Five.  Early Voting will take place from April 20, 2026, through April 28, 2026. As the election approaches, specific locations will be posted in accordance with state law. Please visit our Elections page for current information. A. May 2, 2026 General Election - The first day to file an application for a place on the May 2, 2026 General Election Ballot was Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
