STATED TOWN BOARD MEETING JUNE 11, 2019 The Town Board of the Town of Hempstead, New York, met at the Town Meeting Pavilion, Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 7:00P.M. ,--· Roll was called: PRESENT: LAURA A. CABANA, Town Clerk GASPARE TUMMINELLO, Deputy Town Clerk JOSEPH J. RA, Town Attorney Supervisor Gillen honored the Chaminade's High School Baseball Team who, because of final exams, was unable to be present. They are the Nassau-Suffolk Catholic High School Athletic Association Champions for the 17th time and the first since 2015. Present were Head Coach Mike Pienkos and Assistant Coaches: Jack Lyons, Jorge Vargas and James Ballin. Supervisor Gillen gave citations to the coaches and offered congratulations to them all on behalf of the Town Board. Councilman D'Esposito spoke a few words of congratulations and wished them the best of luck for a successful next year. ~- Councilman Dunne made mention of those that had a Levittown connection to Chaminade including James Ballin in whom he was so proud.
