STATED TOWN BOARD MEETING DECEMBER 21, 2021 The Town Board of the Town of Hempstead, New York, met at the Town Meeting Pavilion, Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on Tuesday, December 21. 2021 at 10:30 A.M. POKALSKY, Deputy Town Clerk JOSEPH NOCELLA, Town Attorney JACK LIBERT, Chief of Staff JOHN MASTROMARINO, Town Comptroller JEANINE DRISCOLL, Receiver of Taxes Supervisor Clavin asked Councilman Blakeman to lead the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag. Town Attorney Joseph Nocella suggested to the Supervisor that a typographical error be changed on the proposed Local Law Item No. 1, Case No. 21397. The streets that are listed in Chapter 202 under parking that state the restrictions for permitted parking as per this section shall apply to the following: under sub-category one (1), Sterling Road from the south curbline of Hempstead Turnpike south to the th north curbline of 109 Street. Town Clerk Kate Murray asked for clarification on whether it is Street or Avenue. Town Attorney verified that it is I 09th Avenue. Councilman Muscarella made the motion to accept the changes to the proposed Local Law and and adopt Local law as amended. Supervisor Clavin, joined by the members of the Town Board, wished Councihnan Blakeman the best ofluck in his new endeavor. The Town Board assured the County-Exec elect that they would cooperate in all matters that would benefit the public. Councilman Blakeman thanked the Supervisor and members of the Town Board and mentioned he was honored to have served with them. A cake was presented to the Councilman congratulating him on his election.
