The Town Board of the Town of Hempstead, New York, met at the Town Meeting Pavilion,
Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on Tuesday, February 7, 2023
at 10: 30A.M.

Supervisor Clavin asked Councilmember Muscarella to lead the assemblage in the Pledge of
Allegiance to our flag.
Supervisor Clavin and the Town Board wished to inform the public that public hearing, Item No. 11,
Case No. 26947 will begin today and be continued on February 14, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. here at the
Nathan L.H. Bennett Pavilion at the Hempstead Town Hall.
Town Attorney Maccarone reminded the audience that since Item #11, Case No. 26947 is considered a
continuous meeting anyone speaking today cannot comment again on February 14, 2023. The Town
Attorney also read a brief statement regarding the redistricting process, adding for the record a letter
that was received from the Baldwin Civic Association dated February 6th and informing that this
statement as well as the executive summary was handed out to each and every member of the public
who came in today with one amendment being on page one (1) with regard to District 2 it indicates
that four (4) districts are in District 2 from Uniondale when in actuality the map proposed today only
three (3) districts (Election Districts) are included in District 2.
