FEBRUARY 14, 2023
The Town Board of the Town of Hempstead, New York, met at the Town Meeting Pavilion,
Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on Tuesday, February 14, 2023
at 7:00 P.M.

Supervisor Clavin asked Councilmember Carini to lead the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance to
our flag.
The Town Clerk Kate Murray reminded everyone that this is a continuation of the February 71\ 2023
meeting.
Supervisor Clavin asked Town Attorney Maccarone ifhe would like to add something. The Town
Attorney replied with permission of the Supervisor, that he would like to remind the public that this is
a continuation of the public hearing that began on February 7'1\ 2023, and that being one continuous
public hearing, in accord with Town Rule 7A3, as done with the Town Board Budget Hearing, each
participant can only speak once. The Town Attorney added that "if you spoke on February 7th than
your comments are a part of the record and you cannot speak again today", reiterating that today is a
continuation of a public hearing and that constituents can only speak once.

closed, and Local Law No. 14-2023 ADOPTED, pursuant to Resolution No.
