The Town Board of the Town of Hempstead, New York, met at the Town Meeting Pavilion,
Hempstead Town Hall, 1 Washington Street, Hempstead, New York, on Tuesday,
October 15, 2024, at 2:30 P.M.

Supervisor Clavin welcomed everyone to the Town of Hempstead Budget Hearings on the Assessment
Roll for the Greater Atlantic Beach Water Reclamation District for the fiscal year commencing January
1, 2025 & the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Hempstead for the fiscal year commencing January
1, 2025.
Supervisor Clavin asked Deputy Supervisor Goosby to lead the assemblage in the Pledge of Allegiance
to our flag.

John Maccarone, Hempstead Town Attorney, addressed Supervisor Clavin and the Town Board stating
that the Comptroller's Office received an adopted budget from the Roosevelt Public Library Board of
Trustees late, as well as an amended budget from the Bethpage Water District. Mr. Maccarone
requested that the preliminary budget be amended to reflect said changes. It was on the motion of
Deputy Supervisor Goosby and seconded by Councihnember Dunne that the requested amendments be
made to the Preliminary Budget for the fiscal year commencing January 1, 2025, and was unanimously
voted upon roll call.
No further business to come before the Board, it was on motion of Deputy Supervisor Goosby,
seconded by Councihnember Dunne, and unanimously voted upon roll call that the meeting TO BE
CONTINUED AT 7:00 P.M.
