An item for consideration on the agenda was a memo received from Senior
Councilwoman Dorothy L. Goosby on behalf of the Baldwin Oaks Civic
Association. The Civic Association is concerned regarding the major increase in the
level of air traffic noise in the Baldwin Area. Committee member Hoppenhauer will
be in contact with the Councilwoman’s office to establish the protocol for contacting
the Civic Association. Subsequently, Committee member Hoppenhauer will prepare
a response to the Senior Councilwomen.
The Committee members engaged in a general discussion regarding means to better
publicize TVASNAC meeting dates and spur more public interest. The Committee
will consider rotating meeting locations to make it more convenient for attendance.
Also, possibly some Committee members may attend various civic association
meetings to make residents aware of the committee’s history, agenda and
availability as a resource if being impacted by aircraft noise.

PowerPoint presentation from the meeting is attached to the minutes.
