111 CITY OF HENDERSON – RECORD BOOK Record of Minutes of Special Called Joint City/Water & Sewer Commission/County Fiscal Court Meeting on July 27, 2021 A special called joint Board of Commissioners of the City of Henderson, Kentucky, Henderson Water & Sewer Commission, and Henderson County Fiscal Court meeting was held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., prevailing time, (during a called recess of a regular Board of Commissioners meeting) in the third-floor assembly room, Municipal Center, 222 First Street, Henderson, Kentucky. Limited public attendance was permitted at this meeting due to the highly contagious nature of COVID-19; therefore, the meeting was conducted in accordance with KRS 61.826 and SB150. WATER & SEWER COMMISSION CHAIR BIRD asked that Roll Call for the Water & Sewer Commission be conducted. ________________________  112 CITY OF HENDERSON – RECORD BOOK Record of Minutes of Special Called Joint City/Water & Sewer Commission/County Fiscal Court Meeting on July 27, 2021 EXECUTIVE SESSION: “Business Entity Proposal” MOTION by Commissioner Thomas, seconded by Commissioner Staton, that the Board of Commissioners go into Executive Session pursuant to the provisions KRS 61.810(1)(G) relating to discussions between a public agency and a representative of a business entity concerning a specific proposal, if open discussions would jeopardize the siting, retention, expansion, or upgrading of the business. The vote was called. On roll call, the vote stood: Commissioner Vowels --- Aye: Commissioner Pruitt ----- Absent: Commissioner Staton ---- Aye: Commissioner Thomas -- Aye: Mayor Austin ------------- Aye: HENDERSON COUNTY JUDGE EXECUTIVE SCHNEIDER entertained a motion for the Henderson County Fiscal Court to adjourn into Executive Session. WATER & SEWER COMMISSION CHAIR BIRD entertained a motion for the Water & Sewer Commission to adjourn into Executive Session. WHEREUPON, Mayor Austin declared the Boards adjourned into Executive Session. ________________________ MEETING RECONVENED: MOTION by Commissioner Staton, seconded by Commissioner Thomas, the Board of Commissioners reconvene into regular session. The vote was called. On roll call, the vote stood: Commissioner Vowels --- Aye: Commissioner Pruitt ----- Absent: Commissioner Staton ---- Aye: Commissioner Thomas -- Aye: Mayor Austin ------------- Aye: HENDERSON COUNTY JUDGE EXECUTIVE SCHNEIDER entertained a motion for the Henderson County Fiscal Court to reconvene into regular session. WATER & SEWER COMMISSION CHAIR BIRD entertained a motion for the Water & Sewer Commission to reconvene into regular session. WHEREUPON, Mayor Austin reconvened the Boards into regular session. ________________________ MEETING ADJOURN: MOTION by Commissioner Staton, seconded by Commissioner Thomas, to adjourn the meeting. The vote was called.
