Vice Chair Martin and Staff will provide a brief overview of the recent history of the Blue Ribbon Commission (BRC), review the City’s strategic goals related to Quality Education and the 2024-2027 BRC Workplan, and provide opportunities for commissioners to introduce themselves. 4 ELECTION OF OFFICER CHAIR CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Elect Per BRC bylaws, an election for the Chair shall be held annually. Only student members are eligible to serve as Chair. Members will put forth nominations and vote to elect the Chair by a simple majority vote. They shall hold office for one year or until their successor is elected. 5 ELECTION OF OFFICER VICE CHAIR CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Elect Per BRC bylaws, an election for the Vice Chair shall be held annually. Only student members are eligible to serve as Vice Chair.
