CITY OF HENDERSON COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM ADVISORY COMMITTEE REGULAR MEETING AGENDA To be Conducted via Teleconference and Video Wednesday, October 21, 2020 Conference ONLY 9:00 AM Meeting Inquiries: (702) 267-1532 NOTICE PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE COVID-19-RELATED PUBLIC GATHERING RESTRICTIONS, THERE WILL BE NO IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE AT THIS MEETING. This meeting is being conducted in conformance with the State of Nevada Executive Department Declaration of Emergency Directive 006, dated March 22, 2020, as extended by Emergency Directive 029, dated July 31, 2020, extending public meeting closures and restrictions for the duration of the current state of emergency, unless terminated by a subsequent directive or by operation of law associated with lifting the Declaration of Emergency. IV. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA (For Possible Action) V. NEW BUSINESS NB-1 MINUTES CDBG PROGRAM ADVISORY COMMITTEE DECEMBER 18, 2019 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT & SERVICES DEPARTMENT For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Adopt CDBG Program Advisory Committee Meeting minutes of December 18, 2019. CDBG Program Advisory Committee Page 3 of 4 Wednesday, October 21, 2020 - Agenda NB-2 REVIEW THE 2020-2024 CONSOLIDATED PLAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT & SERVICES DEPARTMENT For Information and Discussion Staff will review the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and priorities. NB-3 CDBG FORM OF REQUEST FOR APPLICATION FOR PROGRAM YEARS 2021 AND 2022 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT & SERVICES DEPARTMENT For Information and Discussion Staff will present the draft form of Request for Application to be utilized in connection with the award of CDBG allocations and information regarding the processing of CDBG program applications on a two-year basis for program years 2021 and 2022. NB-4 CDBG-CV FORM OF REQUEST FOR APPLICATION FOR CARES ACT FUNDING FOR COVID-19 RELIEF UNDER THE CDBG PROGRAM COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT & SERVICES DEPARTMENT For Information and Discussion Staff will present the draft form of Request for Application to be utilized in connection with the award of CARES Act funding for COVID-19 relief under the CDBG program (CDBG-CV) and information regarding the processing of CDBG-CV funding on a six-year basis for program years 2021-2026. NB-5 ANNUAL ELECTION OF COMMITTEE CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT & SERVICES DEPARTMENT For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Elect CDBG Program Advisory Committee Annual Election of Chair and Vice Chair for the 2021 program year.
