THURSDAY, JULY 18, 2024
I. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Nathan Goldberg called the Citizens Traffic Advisory Board meeting to
order at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers Conference Room, 240 Water
Street, Henderson, Nevada 89015.
II. CONFIRMATION OF POSTING AND ROLL CALL
Alexis Solorzano, Administrative Assistant I, confirmed the Citizens Traffic
Advisory Board meeting had been posted in compliance with the Nevada Open
Meeting Law.

There were no public comments presented.
IV. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA (For Possible Action)
(Motion)
Member Kondala Kao Mantri introduced a motion to accept the agenda, as
presented. The vote favoring approval was unanimous. Chair Nathan Goldberg
declared the motion carried.

Minutes of the Citizens Traffic Advisory Board Meeting of October 19, 2023.
(Motion)
Member Emily Campbell introduced a motion to adopt the minutes of the
October 19, 2023, as presented. The vote favoring approval was unanimous.
Chair Nathan Goldberg declared the motion carried.
2 CONCERNS ON ANTHEM PARKWAY AND SUN CITY ANTHEM DRIVE
ROADWAY
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
Staff will present board members with citizen concerns on the Anthem Loop
(Anthem Parkway and Sun City Anthem Drive). Citizen concerns include
speeding, suggested speed limit, signals, and sight visibility.
Christina Richter, Project Engineer II, provided a presentation, titled “Sun City
Anthem Loop – Addressing Public Concerns” and highlighted the following:
Characteristics of the Anthem loop.
Speeding concerns.
2009 and 2024 speed locations and data.
Recommendations for speed.
Williamsport & Sun City Anthem.
Sight visibility concerns.
Follow-up actions.
VI. CHAIRMAN\MEMBER COMMENTS
Member Jordon Godorov asked why the timing of traffic lights has changed.
Eric Hawkins, Traffic Engineer, stated FAST is the entity that would be
responsible for changing the timers on traffic lights.
VII. SET NEXT MEETING
The next meeting was set for Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.

IX. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, Chair Nathan Goldberg adjourned

Public comment will be taken at the designated Public Comment periods. Individuals will be
limited to three (3) minutes and spokespersons for a group will be limited to ten (10) minutes
at the discretion of the Chairman.
The Chairman reserves the right to curtail abusive, offensive, inflammatory or repetitive
comments that disrupt, disturb or otherwise impede the orderly conduct of the meeting. See
NRS 241.030(4)(a). Examples of disruptive conduct include, without limitation, yelling,
stamping of feet, whistles, applause, heckling, name calling, use of profanity, personal
attacks, physical intimidation, threatening use of physical force, assault, battery, or any other
acts intended to impede the meeting or infringe on the rights of the board and/or committee
members, City staff, or meeting participants.
