I. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Hafen called the Committee Meeting to order at 6:49 p.m., in the City
Council Chambers, City Hall, 240 Water Street, Henderson, Nevada 89015.
II. CONFIRMATION OF POSTING AND ROLL CALL
The City Clerk confirmed the Committee Meeting had been noticed in
compliance with the Open Meeting Law by posting the Agenda three working
days prior to the meeting at City Hall, the Multigenerational Center, the Whitney
Ranch Recreation Center, and Fire Station No. 86, and by mailing a copy of the
Agenda to everyone appearing thereon on the Agenda Master Mailing List.

III. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA
(Motion)
Councilwoman Debra March moved to accept the agenda as presented. The roll
call vote favoring passage was: Those voting aye: Andy Hafen, Sam Bateman,
Debra March, and Gerri Schroder. Those voting nay: None. Those absent:
John F. Marz. Those abstaining: None. Mayor Hafen declared the motion
carried.

ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Mayor Hafen introduced Bill No. 2667 and City Manager Snow read the Bill by
title:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HENDERSON,
NEVADA, TO AMEND TITLE 19 OF THE HENDERSON MUNICIPAL CODE,
SECTION 19.5.5.K CATERING SERVICES TO AMEND THE STANDARDS
REQUIRING A FULL-SERVICE RESTAURANT IN CONJUNCTION WITH A
CATERING SERVICE IN THE DCC DISTRICT; AND OTHER MATTERS
RELATED THERETO.
Tracy Foutz, Deputy Director of Community Development, stated that this is a
housekeeping item.

Councilwoman Gerri Schroder moved to refer Bill No. 2667 to the Regular
meeting with a do-pass recommendation. The roll call vote favoring passage
was: Those voting aye: Andy Hafen, Sam Bateman, Debra March, and
Gerri Schroder. Those voting nay: None. Those absent: John F. Marz. Those
abstaining: None. Mayor Hafen declared the motion carried.

RANGE 61 EAST, M.D.B. & M., CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA, GENERALLY
LOCATED NORTHEAST OF BERMUDA ROAD AND LIBERTY HEIGHTS
AVENUE, IN THE WESTGATE PLANNING AREA FROM CLARK COUNTY
ZONING (CNTY AND CNTY-AE) TO PS-AE (PUBLIC/SEMIPUBLIC WITH
AIRPORT ENVIRONS OVERLAY), AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING
THERETO.

RANGE 62 EAST, M.D.B. & M., CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA, GENERALLY

There being no further business to come before the Council, Mayor Hafen, in
concurrence with the Council, adjourned the Committee Meeting at 6:51 p.m.
