RECOMMENDATION: Approve First Amendment to the Land Purchase and Sale Agreement between the City of Henderson and South 15 Partners, LLC, originally approved by Henderson City Council on February 19, 2013, removing 10 acres from the property to be acquired by developer, extending the closing dates for purchase of the balance of the property to October 15, 2015, and October 15, 2016, permitting earlier purchase of portions of the subject property, providing for the execution and recording of an amendment to the deed of trust securing developer's obligations to allow for partial releases of the encumbered property, and other revisions as outlined in the amendment, and authorize the City Manager on behalf of the City to approve requests by developer to purchase portions of the property prior to October 15, 2015, and October 15, 2016, as set forth in the amendment.
