VII. PUBLIC HEARINGS PH-37 PUBLIC HEARING PETITION TO CONSIDER PECOS ROBINDALE ESTATES UNITS I AND II NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT PUBLIC WORKS, PARKS AND RECREATION For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Determine whether the public interest will benefit from the provision of the improvements proposed by petitioners and direct staff accordingly. Public Hearing to consider a petition filed by the residents of Pecos Robindale Estates Units I and II for the acquisition or improvement of a neighborhood improvement district project to be located at Pecos Robindale Estates Units I and II and commonly referred to as ‘The Meridian.’ The neighborhood improvement district proposed by the petitioners would attempt to beautify portions of the subdivision by replacing missing, dead or diseased trees; planting new shrubbery; grading; removing deleterious material; installing an irrigation system, water meter(s), irrigation timer(s), accent boulders and rock mulch; and providing ongoing maintenance of such improvements. After consideration of any comments and objections made at the hearing the City Council will determine whether the public interest will benefit from the provision of the proposed improvements and direct staff accordingly.
