RECOMMENDATION: Accept Grant Award from the State of Nevada, Office of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety, Joining Forces 2021, in the amount of $220,000.00, for the City of Henderson Police Department to continue statewide, multi-jurisdictional traffic enforcement events that focus on reducing fatalities and serious injury accidents in Nevada, and to enforce safety belt, child-safety seat, speed enforcement, pedestrian safety, and DUI laws, to pay for overtime expenditures directly related to conducting these events for the period of October 1, 2020, to September 30, 2021.
