Amanda Kern, Senior Assistant City Attorney, will provide Open Meeting Law (OML) and Ethics Training for board members. 3 PRESENTATION CHARTER AUTHORITY UPDATE CITY MANAGER’S OFFICE For Information and Discussion Only. Tara Phebus, Education Initiatives Division Head, and Michael Dang, Charter School Sponsor Officer will provide an update on progress toward establishing the Henderson Charter School Sponsoring Office within the Education Initiatives Division. 4 PRESENTATION LEGISLATIVE OVERVIEW CITY MANAGER’S OFFICE For Information and Discussion Only. Government and Public Affairs Department staff will provide an overview of education items from the 83rd Session of the Nevada Legislature. 5 PRESENTATION WORK PLAN STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT CITY MANAGER’S OFFICE For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Approve 2024-2027 Community Education Advisory Board (CEAB) Workplan which was adopted during the September 11, 2024 meeting, detailed key components and objectives that highlighted its alignment with the strategic plan.
