Tuesday, October 24, 2017
I. CALL TO ORDER
Acting Chairman McGinty called the Redevelopment Agency Advisory
Commission to order at 4:03 p.m. in the Annex Conference Room, City Hall
Annex, 280 Water Street, Henderson, Nevada.
II. CONFIRMATION OF POSTING AND ROLL CALL
Brittany West, Recording Secretary, confirmed the meeting had been noticed in
accordance with the Open Meeting Law by posting the Agenda three working
days prior to the meeting at City Hall, Henderson Convention Center, Green
Valley Police Substation, Fire Station No. 86, the Nevada Public Notice
Website, the City of Henderson Website, and by mailing a copy of the agenda to
everyone appearing thereon on the Agenda Master Mailing List.

IV. ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA (For Possible Action)
(Motion) Mr. Leavitt introduced a motion to accept the agenda as
presented. The vote favoring approval was unanimous.
Acting Chairman McGinty declared the motion carried.

REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ADVISORY COMMISSION MEETING
SEPTEMBER 26, 2017
Redevelopment Agency Advisory Commission Meeting minutes of
September 26, 2017.
(Motion) Mr. Henderson introduced a motion to adopt the minutes of
September 26, 2017, as presented. The vote favoring approval
was unanimous. Acting Chairman McGinty declared the motion
carried.
RAC-2 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
CLARK COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT (CCSD) 18% SET-ASIDE FUNDING
DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS
Approve the 2017-18 Henderson Redevelopment Agency 18% Education
Set-Aside Fund distribution of $1,022,038.00 to CCSD as recommended.
Mark Hobaica, Redevelopment Manager, presented a summary of this item.
Responding to a comment that this distribution is per Nevada law, Mr. Hobaica
said this law was put in place when the Agency extended the sunset time frame
for downtown and eastside areas. He noted that Cornerstone and Tuscany are
not included.
David Vorce, Principal Redevelopment Fiscal Administrator, noted that if the
population in Henderson reaches over 500,000 people, all redevelopment areas
will be required to participate in this set-aside distribution program.
(Motion) Mr. Henderson introduced a motion to approve the 2017-2018
Henderson Redevelopment Set-Aside Fund distribution in the
amount of $1,022,038.00 to the Clark County School District as
recommended. The vote favoring approval was unanimous.

RAC-3 PARKLINE LOFT NOTE PAYOFF
City of Henderson Redevelopment Agency (Agency) to pay off the Parkline Loft
note to the City of Henderson (City) in the amount of $621,260.00, plus accrued
interest of $173,029.28, for a total of $794,289.28 before the September 7,
2018, due date.
Mark Hobaica, Redevelopment Manager, presented a summary of this item. It
was noted the value of the land is approximately $640,000.00.
(Motion) Mr. Leavitt introduced a motion to approve the augmentation for
the City of Henderson Redevelopment Agency to pay off the
Parkline Loft Note to the City of Henderson in the amount of
$621,260.00, plus accrued interest of $173,029.28, for a total of
$794,289.28, before the September 7, 2018, due date.

VII. SET NEXT MEETING
The next meeting was set for November 28, 2017, at 4:00 p.m., in the City Hall
Annex Conference Room.

There being no further business to be discussed, the meeting was adjourned at
4:20 p.m.
