RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Senior Citizens Advisory Commission Meeting minutes of September 8, 2021. 2 GUEST SPEAKER BRIAN KENDALL PARKS AND RECREATION For Information and Discussion Only Brian Kendall, Parks and Recreation Manager, will provide an overview of his role with Cultural Arts, Special Events, and Outdoor Recreation. Senior Citizens Advisory Commission Meeting Page 3 of 4 Wednesday, October 13, 2021 - Agenda 3 AUTHORIZE PARTICIPATION BY SENIOR CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMISSION MEMBERS AT UPCOMING EVENTS FROM OCTOBER 15, 2021 TO DECEMBER 31, 2021. PARKS AND RECREATION For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Approve Commission members will discuss and approve whether Commissioners may officially attend or participate in upcoming community programs or events as a representative of the Commission for October 15, 2021, to December 31, 2021. 4 SENIOR AUXILIARY PRESENTATION PARKS AND RECREATION For Information and Discussion Only Linda Rauenbeulher, Henderson Seniors' Auxiliary, will give a report on the activities of the organization. 5 STAFF REPORT PARKS AND RECREATION For Information and Discussion Only Corey Clark, Recreation Services Manager, will give an update on recent events at Heritage Park Senior Facility and the Downtown Senior Center. VI. CHAIRMAN\MEMBER COMMENTS The Chairman and Members may speak on any subject under this section of the agenda. Chairman and Members may comment on matters including, without limitation, future agenda items, upcoming meeting dates, and meeting procedures.
