RECOMMENDATION: Approve Senior Citizens Advisory Commission Meeting minutes of July 10, 2024. 2 HENDERSON AGE-FRIENDLY ACTION PLAN 2024 PARKS AND RECREATION For Information and Discussion Only Jonathan Rodriguez, Planner II, will present on the 2024 Age-Friendly Action Plan that was accepted by City Council in June 2024. 3 SENIOR AUXILIARY PRESENTATION PARKS AND RECREATION For Information and Discussion Only Henderson Senior Auxiliary will give a report on the activities of the organization. Senior Citizens Advisory Commission Meeting Page 4 of 5 Thursday, August 1, 2024 - Agenda 4 AUTHORIZE PARTICIPATION BY SENIOR CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMISSION MEMBERS AT UPCOMING EVENTS FROM AUGUST 15, 2024, TO SEPTEMBER 10, 2024. PARKS AND RECREATION For Possible Action. RECOMMENDATION: Approve Commission members will discuss and approve whether Commissioners may officially attend or participate in upcoming community programs or events as a representative of the Commission for August 15, 2024, to September 10, 2024. 5 STAFF REPORT PARKS AND RECREATION For Information and Discussion Only Danielle Norris, Parks and Recreation Manager, will give an update on recent events at the Heritage Park Senior Facility and the Downtown Senior Center. VI. CHAIRMAN\MEMBER COMMENTS The Chairman and Members may speak on any subject under this section of the agenda. Chairman and Members may comment on matters including, without limitation, future agenda items, upcoming meeting dates, and meeting procedures.
