CITY OF HENDERSONVILLE ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY BOARD City Operations Center Second Floor Conference Room | 305 Williams St, Hendersonville, NC 28792 Tuesday, December 02, 2025 – 4:30 PM MINUTES CALL TO ORDER Meeting called to order at 4:40 p.m. Members present: Emily Davidson, Virginia Tegel, Fiona McColley (virtual), Jill Carter (virtual), Members absent: Omar Zafra, Alicia Stump, and Kyla Christensen Staff present: Gina Baxter (virtual) and Caitlyn Gendusa APPROVAL OF AGENDA Not enough members were present in person to have a quorum for voting. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Not enough members were present in person to have a quorum for voting. PUBLIC COMMENT No one was present for public comment. BUSINESS Status of FY26 board budget Virginia would like available funds to be used to purchase a replacement solar battery and lock for the Sustainability Demonstration Station. Emily mentioned utilizing leftover funds from Hendo Green Partnership towards a school pollinator garden project. Virginia also brought up utilizing these funds as a match for a sustainability related submission to the Build Hendersonville program. Caitlyn is looking into the feasibility of utilizing funds for these ideas. Vote on FY27 Budget - Caitlyn Gendusa, Staff Liaison Due to not many members present, this topic will be delayed to the January meeting agenda. Caitlyn is looking into if the board can allocate matching funds to a sustainability related submission.
