City Council Meeting

OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS LOCAL REVIEW BOARD OF EQUALIZATION CITY OF HERREID, SOUTH DAKOTA MARCH 15, 2021 5:30 p.m. The Herreid City Council met as the Local Review Board of Equalization Monday, March 15, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 102 Main St N. with the following present: Weismantel, Dupper, K. Rossow, & Weisbeck. Absent were: B. Rossow, Haar and McNeil. Also present was finance officer Neeley. The meeting was called to order by Weismantel at 5:43pm. Haar joined via zoom at 5:44pm, with Dena Hanson, representing Herreid School Board arriving at 5:45pm and B. Rossow arriving at 5:46pm. Moved by Dupper, second by B. Rossow to approve the agenda, all members present voted aye, motion carried. The board reviewed the 2021 Real Property Assessment List. No appeals were filed. Dupper noted that she had spoken with Director of Equalization, Jill Hoogeveen, who was attending a 5:00pm BOE meeting in Mound City for which an appeal had been received. Motion made to accept the entire assessment role as presented made by Weisbeck, seconded by Haar, all members present voted aye, motion carried. Moved by R.
