4. Hesperia Unifed School District Crossing Guards
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the City Council extend the Memorandum of
Understanding (MOU) between the Hesperia Unified School District (HUSD)
and the City of Hesperia for school crossing guards for a period of five years
spanning August 1, 2015 to July 31, 2020.

5. Purchase Piping and Material
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District
authorize the City Manager to approve a one-time purchase from Imperial
Sprinkler Supply for piping and materials needed for the Pipeline Water Line
Replacement program Construction Order #3405 in the not-to-exceed amount
of $97,771.

6. Revised Combined Compensation Schedules
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2016-001, the

Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District adopt Resolution HWD
2016-01, the Commission of the Community Development Commission adopt
Resolution CDC 2016-01, and the Commission of the Hesperia Housing
Authority adopt Resolution HHA 2016-01 approving the City’s revised
Combined Compensation Schedule effective January 9, 2016.

7. Approve and Accept Construction of Animal Control Facility - Site
Improvements (C.O. No. 6524)
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the City Council accept the work constructed under
Animal Control Facility - Site Improvements (C.O. No. 6524) and authorize
staff to record a “Notice of Completion” and release all withheld retention
amounts after 35 calendar days from the date of recordation.

Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the Fire District Board of Directors adopt Resolution
No. HFPD 2016-01 admitting Annexation 175 (Acero Cresta, LLC) into the
Community Facilities District (CFD) 94-01 and direct the Secretary of the
Board to file the addition with the County Recorder.

12. Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Economic Development Loan
Program and Microenterprise Assistance Program Approval Authority
Recommended Action:
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager, or
designee to approve loans made through the City’s CDBG Microenterprise
Assistance Program (MAP) and Economic Development Loan Program
(EDLP) that have been reviewed and approved by the Loan Review Committee
(LRC) for amounts up to $50,000.
