Warrant Run Report (City - Successor Agency - Housing Authority - Community Development Commission - Fire - Water) Recommended Action: It is recommended that the Council/Board ratify the warrant run and payroll report for the City, Successor Agency to the Hesperia Community Redevelopment Agency, Hesperia Housing Authority, Community Development Commission, Fire District, and Water District. Proposition 57 - Public Safety and Rehabilitation Act of 2016 Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2016-040, opposing Proposition 57 - the Public Safety and Rehabilitation Act of 2016. Emergency Water Conservation Regulations Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council and Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District (District) adopt Joint Resolution Nos. 2016-041 and HWD 2016-14 respectively, revising and extending certain emergency water conservation measures authorized by the Public Utilities Ordinance [Hesperia Municipal Code (HMC) Title 14] and mandated by the California State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) as previously adopted. Audit Services for FY 2015-16 Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City of Hesperia, Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency, Hesperia Housing Authority, Community Development Commission, Hesperia Fire Protection District, and Hesperia Water District Council/Boards/Commissions enter into a Professional Services Agreement with independent certified public accountants firm White Nelson Diehl Evans LLP, in the amount of $87,800 for performing the audit of the City and its component units, for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2016, as well as additional required State reporting for the year ended June 30, 2016. Fourth of July Weekend Fireworks Use and Enforcement Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council receive and file the following information provided by staff relating to the Hesperia Police Station ’s concentrated response to the use of illegal fireworks in the City over the 2016 Fourth of July holiday weekend.
