CITY OF HIALEAH March 4, 2024 10:00 A.M. Food Trucks Workshop (MINUTES) I. Call to Order A. Mayor Bovo called the meeting to order at 10:13 a.m. B. The following Council Members were present: 1. Council President Tundidor 2. Council Member Rodriguez 3. Council Member Perez 4. Council Member Zogby II. Discussion A. REPORT: Mayor Bovo spoke regarding the purpose of the workshop. B. REPORT: Yesenia Gruich, Occupational License Official, provided the Council Members with documentation include (1) the City of Hialeah Food Truck Regulations and Flow Chart, and (2) Business Tax Receipt Application, which is on file with the Office of the City Clerk. C. REPORT: Debora Storch, Planning and Zoning Official, spoke. D. REPORT: Carlos Diaz, Fire Marshall for the City of Hialeah, presented PowerPoint, and provided the Council Members with a Food Truck Safety flyer, which is on file with the Office of the City Clerk. III. Comments and Questions  A. REPORT: Yosan addressed the Mayor and City Council. B. REPORT: Jorge Llapur, Co-Founder of Cuban Guys, addressed the Mayor and City Council. C. REPORT: Mike with La Bodeguita, addressed the Mayor and City Council. D. REPORT: Miguel with la Bodeguita, addressed the Mayor and City Council. E. REPORT: Emery, Palm and 14th, addressed the Mayor and City Council. F. REPORT: Osniel Espinoza, 876 Southwest 26th Street, addressed the Mayor and City Council. G. REPORT: Juan addressed the Mayor and City Council. H. REPORT: Amuey Rodriguez, 1140 West 28th Street, addressed the Mayor and City Council. I. REPORT: Lina Collazo, 366 East 34th Street, addressed the Mayor and City Council. J. REPORT: Dariel Gonzalez addressed the Mayor and City Council. K. REPORT: Yrene Fernandez, Aide to Council Member Pacheco, spoke on behalf of Council Woman Pacheco. L. REPORT: Manuel Lopez, 2093 Palm Avenue, addressed the Mayor and City Council. M. REPORT: Amado Alonso addressed the Mayor and City Council. IV.
