Minutes of Meeting of February 1, 2020 Mr. Johnson motioned to approve the minutes and Ms. Camino-Hernandez seconded the motion. Motion was passed unanimously to approve the minutes. 3. Quarterly Report on Plans/Presentation by Burgess Chambers & Associates Mr. Wan presented the quarterly report to the committee. No motion was needed for this item. 4. Report by Nationwide Ms. Avello-Rodriguez presented the report to the committee. No motion was needed for this item. 5. Unfinished Business • Discussion on possible approval of amending the City of Hialeah Defined Contribution Plan Committee Continuing Education and Travel Policy – Tabled 2/3/2020 Mr. Johnson motioned to untable this item and Mr. Lloyd-Still seconded this motion. Motion was passed unanimously. Mr. Jove presented a new draft for the travel policy and Mr. Johnson asked Mr. Jove if Mr. Fernandez can be reimbursed for the time he took off for the NAGDCA Conference he attended two years ago. Mr. Johnson also motioned for Mr. Fernandez to be reimbursed for the time he took off for this trip and Ms. Camino-Hernandez seconded this motion. Motion was passed unanimously. Mr. Johnson also motioned to approve the new travel  policy and Mr. Lloyd-Still seconded that motion. Motion was passed unanimously. 6. New Business • Request to approve Burgess Chambers & Associates invoice Mr. Johnson motioned to approve the invoice and Mr. Lloyd-Still seconded that motion. Motion was passed unanimously. • NAGDCA Annual Conference The NAGDCA Annual Conference was announced to the committee as to where it will be this year and how to attend. No motion was needed for this item. • Best Practices for Locating Missing or Nonresponsive Participants and Beneficiaries The memo previously issued to the Retirement Board of Trustees was presented to this committee to provide information as to what the new guidelines are for locating missing or nonresponsive participants and beneficiaries. • Third Cycle Restatement – Nationwide An update on the agreement with the City and Nationwide was presented to the Committee by Ms. Avello-Rodriguez and Mr. Wan. No motion was needed for this item. • Committee Elections Ms. Beecher motioned to keep Mr. Fernandez as Chairman of the committee and Mr. Johnson seconded that motion. Motion was passed unanimously. Mr. Johnson motioned to keep Ms. Beecher as Vice Chair of the committee and Ms. Camino- Hernandez seconded that motion. Motion was passed unanimously. Meeting ended at 11:27AM with the next meeting set for August 2nd, 2021, 10:00AM, in City Council Chambers.
