A meeting of the Elected Officers Retirement Oversight Committee was called to order Monday, May 3, 2021,
at 12:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers
1-Call to Order
Roll Call:
• Ines Beecher, OMB Director Present.
• Marbelys Fatjo, City Clerk Present
• Paul Hernandez, Council President Present
Also present:
• Robert Lloyd-Still, Risk Manager
• Christopher Chiocca, Finance Director
• Alan Krueger, Retired Litigation Attorney via conference call
• Grisell Aedo, Retirement Director
• Frank Wan, Vice President & Investment Advisor, Burgess Chambers & Associates, Inc.
• Shelley Jones, GRS Consultant via conference call
2-Meeting Minutes of February 1, 2020
Mr. Hernandez motioned to approve the minutes and Ms. Fatjo seconded the motion. The motion passed.
3-Quarterly Performance Report-Burgess Chambers & Associates Inc.
Mr. wan presented the quarterly performance report to the committee. No motioned was made for this item.
4-Invoice Approval-Burgess Chamber & Associates Inc.
Mr. Hernandez motioned to approve the invoice and Ms. Beecher seconded the motion. The motion passed.
5-Unfinished Business
No unfinished business.
6-New Business
October 1, 2020 Actuarial Valuation Report presented by GRS
Mr. Jones presented the Actuarial Valuation Report to the committee. Ms. Beecher motioned to approve
the report and Mr. Hernandez seconded that motion. The motion passed.
GRS Assumption Study
Ms. Beecher motioned to begin an assumption study on the Plan and Ms. Fatjo seconded the motioned.
The motion passed.
There being no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned at 1:03 p.m. The next
Committee meeting will be scheduled on Monday, August 2nd, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
