CITY OF HIALEAH July 14, 2021 6:00 P.M. Historic Preservation Board Minutes REPORT: Vice-Chair Ms. Rey called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m. I. Roll Call REPORT: Brigette Leal, Office of the City Clerk called the roll with the following Board Members present: O Vice-Chair, Ms. Katrina Rey O Board Member, Mr. Ferny Coipel O Board Member, Mr. Paul Pantoja O Board Member, Ms. Annie Reatha Johnson II. Agenda Items A. Request permission to approve the minutes of the Historic Preservation Board held on January 20, 2020. APPROVED 4-0 REPORT: Motion to approve Item A made by Board Member Coipel and seconded by Board Member Johnson. Motion passed 4-0. B. Election of Chair & Vice Chair pursuant to City of Hialeah Code § 2-584(A).  REPORT: Motion to approve Mr. Coipel as Chair of the Historic Board made by Board Member Coipel and seconded by Board Member Johnson. Motion passed 4-0. REPORT: Motion to approve Ms. Rey as Chair of the Historic Board made by Board Member Coipel and seconded by Board Member Johnson. Motion passed 4-0. III. New Business REPORT: Mr. Coipel requested that the City update the website for the Historic Board to include board member names and the involvement of the board within the community. REPORT: Mr. Coipel requested the procedure to designate a building a historical cite. IV. Unfinished Business REPORT: None. V. Comments and Questions REPORT: None. VI.
