Minutes of Regular Council Meeting Special Council Meeting September 3, 2013 at 4:45 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Larry Haver. The Pledge of Allegiance was repeated by all present. Present were: Council members, Ron Beverly, Mick Pocratsky, Mark Haver, Mike Barth, Ron Jones and Mike Headley; and Solicitor, Troy Essex. The meeting was called to discuss possible legislation to prohibit the sale of stimulant products a/k/a synthetic drugs. A discussion took place on how to address the problem. The Ohio Revised Code classifies various synthetic drugs depending on the components of the drug.   Troy Essex mentioned that the state is working on proper language to give the Ohio Pharmacy Board authority to declare these types of drugs illegal. Ron Beverly made a motion to have Troy Essex draft an ordinance concerning this issue plus adopt or incorporate the proper State language. Ron Jones seconded. All in favor. At 5:34 p.m. Ron Beverly moved to adjourn. Mark Haver seconded.  All in favoar.
