Attachment 1 TECHNICAL COORDINATING COMMITTEE Meeting Minutes June 18, 2024 CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in the Third Floor Conference Room of the City of High Point Municipal Building by Greg Venable. TCC MEMBERS PRESENT: John Rhyne, Michael Abuya, Stevie Cox, Andrew Edmonds, Chuck George, Fred Haith, Mark Kirstner, Bryan Kluchar, Jason Miller, Andy Piper, Greg Venable (Chair). HPMPO STAFF PRESENT: Gwen Ford (Minutes Taker), Nathan Smiley, Josh Hudson OTHERS PRESENT: Phillip Craver, John Hanes, Richard Jones, Roosevelt “Jeron” Monroe, Stephen Robinson, Alex Rotenberry, Nishant Shah, Nicholas Morrison. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD Chair Venable opened the floor for public comment. There were no comments. The Chair closed the public comment period. CONSENT AGENDA Item 1: Consideration for approval of the March 2024 TCC minutes Item 2: Recommendation to the TAC for approval of amendments to the 2024-2033 MTIP Chair Venable presented the consent agenda for approval. Stevie Cox made a motion to approve the consent agenda. Jason Miller seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. ACTION ITEMS Item 3: Recommendation to the TAC for approval of amendments to the 2022-2023 UPWP Andrew Edmonds presented the recommendation. Stevie Cox made a motion to approve the recommendation. Jason Miller seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Item 4: Recommendation to the TAC for approval of Section 5307 funding allocations. Division 8 Jeron Roosevelt presented project updates as included in the meeting agenda packet. Division 9 Fred Haith presented project updates as included in the meeting agenda packet. Item 8: NCDOT Transportation Planning Division Report. Michael Abuya reported that the director retired and the position is still open. Item 9: NCDOT Integrated Mobility Division Report. No representative present. Item 10: Federal Highway Administration Report. Nicholas Morrison presented FHWA updates as included in the meeting agenda packet. Item 11: Public Transportation Reports High Point Transit No representative present. Davidson County Transportation Richard Jones reported updates as included in the meeting agenda packet. RCATS No representative present. PART Mark Kirstner provided updates as included in the meeting agenda packet. 2 Attachment 1 Item 12: High Point MPO Director’s Report Andrew Edmonds introduced the new staff members and presented other MPO updates.
