6. Discuss with Possible Action -Adoption of Proposed Tax Rate of $0.1260 per $100 of value for 2023; increase
of 17.68%
a. Ordinance #125 Adoption of City Tax Rate for 2023
Terry Smith moved that the property tax rate be increased for 2023 by the adoption of a tax
rate of $.01260/$00, which is effectively an increase in the tax rate from last year. Motion was
seconded by Bruce Robertson.
