Adjournment Page | 4  HIGHSPIRE BOROUGH COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 21 – 2024 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF HIGHSPIRE, DAUPHIN COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, APPROVING A THREE- YEAR CONTRACT WITH REPUBLIC SERVICES, LLC. FOR THE COLLECTION AND TRANSPORTATION OF MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE IN THE BOROUGH OF HIGHSPIRE FROM JANUARY 1, 2025 THROUGHT DECEMBER 31, 2027. WHEREAS, the current municipal solid waste collection and transportation contract will expire on December 31, 2024; and WHEREAS, a proposal has been accepted for a new three-year contract agreement for the collection and transportation of municipal solid waste; and WHEREAS, Republic Services, LLC. of York, Pennsylvania is the current contract holder and was the lowest bidder submitting a proposal in the amount of $1,263,754.80; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Borough Council of the Borough of Highspire hereby approves a three-year contract with Republic Services, LLC., for the collection and transportation of municipal solid waste in the Borough of Highspire. RESOLVED, this 10th day of September, 2024, by the Borough Council of the Borough of Highspire, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
