City Council Meeting

_____________________________________________________________________________________ SPECIAL COMMON COUNCIL MINUTES TUESDAY, JANUARY 14, 2020 Mayor Greg Kubarski called the Common Council meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. All present rose and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Kubarski asked if the meeting was properly noticed to which Administrator Sonntag replied, “Yes”. Roll call was taken with Alderpersons Rick Hanke, Garth Hitselberger, Tom Hotek, Mark Lankey, Patricia Moen, Darrow Novy, and Elizabeth Parish present. Randy Seeley was absent. Others in attendance were: City Administrator Adam Sonntag, Police Chief Patrick Clark, Terry Revels, and Nicolette Nauman with the Hillsboro Sentry-Enterprise. The Committee reviewed bids for the Salsbery Circle Lot Grading Project. After discussion, a motion was made by Novy, second by Hanke to approve the low bid of $74,700.00 from Krueger Excavating. Motion carried. Motion by Hanke, seconded by Hotek to adjourn at 7:08 P.M. Motion carried.
